Communications Design Alumni at Work
ORGANIZERS AND DATES
June 26-August 30, 2025
Pratt Manhattan Gallery, Pratt Institute, New York
DESCRIPTION
To understand the richness and breadth of the practice of design resulting from a course of study in the Design Communications Department, Pratt Institute, we are highlighting alumni designers from the BFA and MFA programs, each of whose path and practice is distinct. Some designers follow traditional trajectories in their careers; some have departed from the design space, entering the world of fine arts; some have established new ways of organizing their working situations; some are working for change through their design practices; others have stepped into the future, developing and working with new technologies; some are beginning to shape their careers; others are legendary.
At the core, uniting these variants is the solid foundation provided by their experiences, at the undergraduate or graduate level, at Pratt Institute’s Design Communications Department.
